Tens of Thousands Join Nationwide Unity Ride Against Motorcycle Double Plate
An estimated 75,000 motorcycle riders converged this morning at the EDSA Freedom Monument to hold what is historically the biggest Unity Ride ever, this time to show their outrage against the recently signed double plate law which the riders tagged as anti-poor. Riders in different parts of the country also simultaneously staged their localized unity rides, making the total number of participants to an estimated 120,000.
